Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of GOptions (goptions.pages.dev), a free beta web app with an options-strategy calculator, a portfolio tracker and a "Deal Heatmap" scenario chart. By signing up or using GOptions you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it. When you tick the Terms/Privacy checkbox at sign-up, we record that you accepted (the version you accepted and the time) on our server.
1. Who runs GOptions
GOptions is run by an individual in Israel who is a sole proprietor (exempt dealer). There is no company. In these terms "we" and "us" mean that person. Contact: GOptions.app@gmail.com.
2. Educational tool only – not advice
- GOptions is an educational and informational tool. It helps you explore "what if" scenarios.
- Nothing in GOptions is investment advice, an investment recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy, sell or hold anything.
- We are not a licensed investment adviser or investment marketer. We don't know your situation and we don't give personal advice.
- GOptions does not give trading signals or alerts. Any number you enter (such as a plan or a target) is your own input.
- Talk to a licensed professional before you make financial decisions.
3. No guarantees; data and models can be wrong
- Results come from mathematical models and assumptions. Real markets behave differently. Model values are estimates, not predictions.
- Where market prices are shown, option prices are delayed by at least 15 minutes and stock (underlying) prices may be slightly delayed; both come from third-party public sources. Interest rates come from US Treasury / FRED data. Elsewhere in the app, values are calculated by the model.
- Data may be late, incomplete, wrong or unavailable at any time, and the sources can change or block access without notice.
- We don't promise that GOptions is accurate, complete, error-free or always available.
4. Risk – you are responsible
Trading options is risky. You can lose all of the money you put in, and sometimes more. You alone are responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and for checking numbers against your broker before you act.
5. Free beta, "as is"
GOptions is a free beta. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, limit, suspend or end any part of it (or the whole service) at any time, with or without notice. Features may be removed. If a paid tier is ever introduced, these terms may be updated.
6. Your account
- Access is by approval from the administrators. We can approve, refuse or remove anyone at our discretion.
- One account is for one person. Don't share your account or let others use it.
- Sign-in is with your Google account. Keep it secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be 18 or older.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- scrape, copy, resell or redistribute the data shown in GOptions, or use it to build another product or data feed;
- use bots or automated tools to pull data from GOptions;
- try to break, overload or get around the security or access limits of the service;
- use GOptions for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm other users or us.
8. Your content
Your portfolio and deals stay yours. They are stored in your own Google Drive (a hidden app folder), not on our servers and not in your browser's storage. Your browser keeps only your settings, your sign-in state and, briefly during sign-in, a temporary copy of unsaved edits. You give us only the limited permission needed to let the app read and write that data on your behalf while you use it. See the Privacy Policy for what we do store.
GOptions itself (its code, design and text) belongs to its owner. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while these terms apply.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage from using GOptions or relying on its results or data, including trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss. Because this is a free beta, to the extent allowed by law our total liability to you for anything related to GOptions is limited to zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using GOptions at any time and ask us to delete your account data (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end your access at any time, for example if you break these terms or if we end the beta. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 2, 3, 4, 9 and 11) continue after that.
11. Governing law
Israeli law applies to these terms. The competent courts of Southern District (Beer Sheva), Israel, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to go to another court.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change. If you keep using GOptions after an update, you accept it. For significant changes we will try to notify you in the app or by email.
